Who is Lumini skincare for?
Whilst Lumini skincare has been specifically formulated to be gentle enough for younger preteen skin, there is no reason why everyone can't use it and love it too.
When should my child start using skincare?
Anytime, no age is too young to start creating healthy habits. Make it fun.
Do you test on animals?
Never.

Has the SPF been certified and tested?
Our moisturising SPF has been evaluated and certified according to the method described in ISO24443, by Dermatest NZ.
Product Information
What is the shelf life of the products?
Our skincare range has a shelf life of 3 years from the manufacture date. Once opened use within 12 months. Our products have an expiry date on the bottle.
How should I store Lumini skincare products?
In a cool place, not in direct sunlight. Replace lids to keep bathrooms tidy!
Are your products made in New Zealand?
Our skincare products are proudly made in New Zealand, using the highest quality of ingredients.
Is Lumini skincare for all skin types?
Yes. However, we recommend patch testing all skincare products before using. Test a small amount on a sensitive area of skin, for example behind the ear. Leave the product on for 24 hours, then wash off. Repeat the test and check for any signs of irritation. If you have any reaction, stop using the product. Please also review the ingredients list of each product if concerned.
What if I have allergies?
Please always patch test before using. We do not use essential oils in our products to reduce the possibility of reactions. Please discontinue use if reaction occurs.
Are your products natural or organic?
Natural = Yes, our products (except SPF30) are made from natural and naturally derived ingredients.
Organic = Some ingredients are yes but not all.
Are your products vegan?
Yes. This is important to us because plant-based ingredients generally contain more vitamins and antioxidants.
Is Lumini palm oil free?
Yes. This is important to us because of the negative environmental and ethical impacts of using palm oil.
Do you use fragrance?
Yes (but only a touch - 1% or less of total formulation). Why? Because smelling divine makes you feel good. Our fragrance is handmade and adheres to the safety rules stipulated by the International Fragrance Association (IFRA).
Can I recycle the packaging?
Yes. Our airless bottles (and inner plastic pump and lid) are made entirely from PP plastic. Our hair detangler bottles are made from 100% PCR PET.

Shipping Questions
Do you ship overseas?
Yes. Flat rate $25 (NZD) to Australia. For other destinations please contact us at lumini@lumini.co.nz.
Where else can I buy your products from?
Currently only online. But if you are an interested stockist, please get in contact with us.
How long until I get my order?
We will dispatch your order within 48 hours. You will receive an email notification advising dispatch and tracking number.
What to do if my order is missing?
Please send an email to orders@lumini.co.nz with your name and order number.
How do I track my order?
You will receive an email with a tracking number as soon as your order has been packed. Please allow 24 hours for this number to be activated as it not active until the courier has scanned it. If it is still not working, please contact us at orders@lumini.co.nz with your name and order number and we will be happy to help.
