Natural Ingredients
Our cleanser and moisturiser, along with all our future products, are crafted with natural and naturally derived ingredients. Our passion for creating safe, clean, and natural skincare options led us on this journey. We took great care to strike the perfect balance, ensuring our formulations remain safe from any harmful growth or mould without compromising on the natural goodness.
Moisturising Sunscreen
We understand the importance of sun protection, and choosing the right sunscreen can be a thoughtful decision. Sunscreen comes in two variations: mineral (Zinc-based) and chemical sunscreens.
We turned to our harshest critics—our own tweens—to make the final decision. Their needs were clear: sunscreen that they would use, that wasn’t sticky, too thick or leave a white film on their skin. This led us to create a broad spectrum chemical-based sunscreen that offers effective protection while ensuring a pleasant experience for your pre-teen.
Our moisturising SPF has been evaluated and certified according to the method described in ISO24443, by Dermatest NZ.
Vegan Ingredients
At Lumini, we take pride in offering products that are 100% vegan. Our formulations are rich in vitamins and antioxidants, promoting healthy skin with minimal environmental impact. Choosing vegan ingredients means you have full transparency about what goes into our products, ensuring you make the best choices for your pre-teen's skincare needs.

Airless Bottles
At Lumini, we're all about innovation and finding the best ways to care for tween's skin as well as the environment. That's why we proudly introduce our airless bottles—a game-changer in the world of skincare packaging.
Unlike traditional pumps or tubes, airless bottles feature a clever design that keeps the product safe from air exposure. This means each pump delivers the perfect dose of goodness without any waste or oxidation. Say goodbye to struggling-to-get-every-last-drop, because our airless bottles ensure nothing goes to waste!
Environmentally Friendly Packaging
We care deeply for the environment and recognise the importance of sustainable choices. While we understand that we can't solve the world's waste crisis on our own, we strive to make conscious and environmentally friendly decisions.
Our airless bottles are crafted from PP (Polypropylene), a plastic free from bisphenol A (BPA). We carefully selected PP plastic for its safety and recyclability. In New Zealand, PP plastic is highly recyclable, contributing to a circular economy that reduces waste and supports a cleaner planet.
Embracing Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) PET Plastic
As we grow and introduce new products, we're committed to continuously improving our environmental footprint. That's why future Lumini products will be thoughtfully made from PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) PET plastic.
PCR PET is a revolutionary material that takes already used and recycled plastic to create something new and useful. By giving recycled plastic a new life, we actively participate in reducing plastic waste and minimising our impact on the environment.
Fragrance
We adore the feeling of smelling delicious, and we want you and your pre-teen to enjoy it too! Our products contain fragrance, but in very small quantities (less than 1%). Our priority is to create a delightful sensory experience while ensuring the utmost safety for your child's skin.
